After many years teaching and studying all aspects of embodiment, I've developed a very practical, grounded and unique way of sharing Yoga and Breathwork which appeals to the logical mind. Developing confidence and understanding what works for you is essential to maintaining a yoga practice which sustains and supports you.
This class will work with simple and basic asana (postures) of Yoga but with a depth and focus which is all about proper alignment, ease of movement, and balancing strength with flexibility. Focus will be on legs (mostly hamstrings) shoulders and core work.
Suitable for beginners to yoga.

This class will work with simple and basic asana (postures) of Yoga but with a depth and focus which is all about breath and deepening awareness into our postures with calm steady quietness. The juxtaposition of dynamic flow and the silent steady stillness allows the body and mind to move through different postures and energies to find balance. Class numbers are small to bring personal instructions to students.
every-body is different so we will all get time and space to explore how things are for us as individuals. I like to speak about anatomy in relation to our habitual movement patterns and lifestyle. Lots of driving and sitting down creates particular patterns in our muscles and movements, and often we can feel instant release by activating and moving in the oppsite patttern with mindfulness and awareness through breath mastery.
Mens bodies hold particular patterns of tension unique to them, and different from women. Shoulders, neck, lowerback and hamstrings are the main focus of these classes.
